A. Hmm, well, in the last giveaway we held, we gave away a $25 dollar credit to TBD, which the winner used to buy a copy of Me Before You by Jojo Moyes. I let my mom borrow (see: BORROW) my copy of Cinder by Marissa Meyer. Apparently, I've talked about it so much, that she needed to read it herself. I
What books have you given (shared with) others lately?
Yikes, a burnt book! I hate it when borrowers return my book in a not-so-pristine condition as I lent it to them. We take so much care of our books and they don't :( And books are pretty expensive nowadays...

Oh my goodness the book got burnt?! o__O I hope it wasn't too bad! I once had a really bad experience with lending my book to a close friend and I bought it brand new and it came back with the cover bent and the edges were yellowing. From then on I don't ever lend my books again. People really need to appreciate books more :(
ReplyDeleteBurning books is bad. or maybe she was trying to add character to it?

I wish I could get my mom to read Cinder. As much as I love it, though, I don't think it is mom's cup of tea. I hope your mom likes it.
ReplyDeleteOh no, a burned book! That's pretty awful. But at least you got your copy back? I haven't had great experiences lending my books because I usually never got my copy back. Now I really only exchange with a couple of trusted friends haha.
